Privacy Policy

TechDab (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the Happy Aging mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Data: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (if you choose to share them). You may also use the App anonymously without providing personal information.

Functional Status Data: Results from the brain age test (memory, attention, speed, balance scores) are stored to track your progress. This data is self-reported and is not medical data.

Chat Data: Messages you send to Eon (the AI mentor) are processed to generate responses. For Premium users, conversation summaries are stored to provide continuity between sessions.

Usage Data: We collect exercise completion, reading progress, streaks, and daily task activity to display your progress within the App.

Device Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send reminders.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalize the App experience
To generate AI responses tailored to your profile
To track your progress and maintain streaks
To send push notification reminders (if enabled)
To process subscription purchases via Apple's In-App Purchase system
To improve the App based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (cloud infrastructure) with Row Level Security — you can only access your own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase — database and authentication
OpenAI — AI chat processing (messages are sent to OpenAI's API to generate Eon's responses; OpenAI does not use this data for training)
RevenueCat — subscription management
Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications
Apple Sign In / Google Sign In — authentication

Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the App.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Delete your account and all data
Opt out of push notifications
Use the App anonymously

8. Not Medical Advice

Happy Aging is a wellness and cognitive training app. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The brain age test measures functional markers for self-improvement purposes only. Consult a healthcare professional for medical concerns.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
